Approach

Jack’s vision for Trans Empowerment Project has been to create a sustainable system of support that ensures we all get to thrive by centering the lives of those who are Disabled 2TIGE (2Spirit, Trans, Intersex) and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) in their solutions.

Results

By leaning into distributed organizing tactics, and relationship building. Jack has been able to build collaborative models which center the most marginalized of all community members in their work.

What began as a moderately sized clothing swap in Knoxville, TN in 2016, has since grown to become a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit that has provided direct aid to thousands of 2 Spirit, Trans, Intersex, and Gender Expansive community members across the globe.
